Facilities Planning and Design serves as the University Architect, including design oversight of all projects that affect the exterior appearance of the campus. For all capital projects (except for Hospital projects), FP&D manages the feasibility and design processes, including consultant selection contract negotiation with consultants, development of project budgets, design for schematics through construction documents, and oversight of construction activities as needed. Other services include coordination of project development in compliance with Board of Trustees rules, development and presentation of submittal packages to the Board of Trustees for Facilities projects and other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Facilities.
